Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Evansville is seeking energetic restaurant team members to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

You will upsell items, handle payments through the POS, and support both dining room and casino restaurant operations while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Able to stand for long periods and work varied hours, including weekends; receive benefits like 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of menu, promotions and events is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, maintain dining experience, deliver items, upsell items, and offer drinks and desserts.
• Takes orders and sends them to kitchen staff through the POS system.
• Must know the menu, promotions, events and other property information.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant with mandated side work.
• Accurately collect money for orders and provide receipts; follow POS procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties as designated by the manager on duty.
• May assist casino restaurant with food prep, stocking, and cashier duties as needed.
• Stand and walk for 7+ hours; follow Indiana Gaming regulations and company policies.
• Adhere to the Company Service Standards model and work a variety of hours including holidays.

Job description

• Greet guests, maintains proper dining experience, delivers items, fulfills guest’s needs, up sells items, offers drinks and desserts, removes courses, refills drinks and replenishes silverware.
• Takes orders and sends them to kitchen staff through the POS system.
• Has a working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events and other property information.
• Helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant by completing the mandatory side work designated by manager on duty.
• Accurately collects money for orders served and follows point-of-sale procedures accurately and gives receipt to patron.
• Performs opening/closing duties as designated by the manager on duty.
• May assist with casino restaurant with food prep, food handling, stocking, and cashier duties as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming and ATC (state) regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.
