Job summary

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Town of Carmel, NY is seeking a friendly Server to join our team. Hourly pay plus tips. Apply online now or in person Mon-Fri 2-4pm.

Provide menu recommendations, take and deliver orders, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience. You must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand through shifts. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide menu recommendations and explain ingredients and preparation methods to guests.
• Complete orders and process payments in POS system.
• Make recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with accuracy and presentation.
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Provide attentive, personalized service and anticipate guests' needs.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a positive dining experience.
