Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (or currently enrolled).
• Strong customer service, effective verbal communication, and ability to multi-task in a warm dining environment.
• Punctual, polite, patient, and eager to build positive relationships with residents.
• Prior experience in food service, restaurant waiting, or senior living dining preferred; entry-level acceptable with great attitude.

Responsibilities

• Dining Room Service: Greet residents warmly, take orders, and serve meals during breakfast and lunch.
• Meal Prep & Setup: Prepare dining tables, stock beverage stations, and ensure proper table settings.
• Resident Assistance: Assist residents with dietary needs while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Clean-Up & Sanitation: Clear tables, buss dishes, wipe areas, and sanitize workstation after service.
• Team Communication: Coordinate with kitchen and care teams for smooth service.

Shift: 1st Shift / Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $12.50 – $14.00 / hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and attentive Part-Time Server to join our dining services team! In this role, you will deliver high-quality table service to our senior residents during breakfast and lunch, ensuring a warm, restaurant-style dining experience in a clean and comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Dining Room Service: Greet residents warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve meals promptly during breakfast and lunch hours.
• Meal Prep & Setup: Prepare dining tables, stock beverage and side stations, and ensure table settings are properly arranged before each meal service.
• Resident Assistance: Assist residents with special dietary needs or menu preferences while maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.
• Clean-Up & Sanitation: Clear tables, buss dishes, wipe down dining areas, and sanitize workstation areas following meal service.
• Team Communication: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and care teams to ensure smooth service and address resident inquiries.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (or currently enrolled).
