Job summary

RoseWood Village Greenbrier in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a friendly Server to support residents and guests during dining experiences. Part-time shifts are available with NO Late Nights.

Walk-in interviews are held every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the facility is accessible via the local bus line. You will greet and seat guests, serve meals, clear tables, and help maintain a clean dining room.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background screening required.
• Drug-free workplace policy adherence.
• Walk-in interviews weekly on Wednesdays 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, friendly manner.
• Serve food efficiently and professionally.
• Clear tables and assist with maintaining a clean dining area.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to residents’ apartments as needed.

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must havepositive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food serving experience preferred.
