White Lodging is seeking staff at Aloft Louisville Downtown to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced food and beverage setting. You’ll connect with guests, assist with menu knowledge, and ensure quality in presentation and service.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with strong communication and listening skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and service-driven mindset.
• Team-oriented with ability to handle high-volume service environments.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods; weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings.
• Complete all necessary set up, side work, and closing duties.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, friendly work environment.
• Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance as an ambassador of our establishment.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
