Thanksgiving Point Institute Inc. in Utah is seeking a Seasonal Catering and Banquet Server to join our team.

This part-time, seasonal role runs from September through December, with duties at catered events and weddings, serving, bussing tables, and assisting the team to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, teamwork, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Great customer service and professional at all times.
• A collaborative team player who receives directions and input well.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Food Handlers permit, which can be obtained after hiring.
• At least 16 years old.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Service catered events and weddings.
• Serve food and buss tables during and after events.
• Fill drinks as needed.
• Setup and take down of venue spaces.
• Ensure guests' needs are met.
• Assist team members and vendors by fostering a healthy working environment.
• Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values, and Policies.
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Seasonal Catering and Banquet Server Job Description

Wage: $13/hour

Shift: Part time, seasonal from Sept - end of December.
