Job summary

BENCHMARK in Westlake, Texas is seeking a part-time Buffet Server for their marketplace buffet style restaurant. The role is vital in providing courteous service to guests while maintaining a clean environment. The position pays $19 per hour and operates in a tip-free environment.

Ideal candidates will possess a friendly demeanor and may have prior restaurant experience. They must obtain Food Safety and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certifications within 30 days of hiring.

Buffet Server – Part‑time

The buffet Server will work in our marketplace buffet style restaurant. This position is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service for the guest, and will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant front of house. It is important to know that we are tip‑free environment so this position is paid a base hourly rate, no tips will be received.

Essential Functions

• Interact with guests to take drink orders.
• Clear, clean and reset plates, tables and maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more.
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Job Details

• Status: Part Time
• Availability: 1st and 2nd shifts
• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center
• Payrate: $19 per hour – no tips

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality; likes to smile and talk to people.
• Restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
• Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re‑certified as needed.
