Job summary

CUZIN is seeking a dynamic Server for our Brick, NJ location. You will be the ambassador of our dining experience, guiding guests through the menu and delivering attentive service from start to finish.

Responsibilities include taking accurate orders, leveraging deep menu knowledge, and collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless service flow. High-volume shifts and premium seafood offerings define this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is required.
• Knowledge of seafood-centric or upscale casual concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESY seating or floor charts is a plus.

We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Server to join our team. As a key ambassador of our dining experience, you will provide exceptional hospitality, guide guests through our menu, and deliver attentive service. You will be responsible for taking accurate orders, showcasing deep menu knowledge, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable meal from start to finish.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at their tables, introduce daily specials, and answer menu questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our seafood selections, preparation styles, and drink pairings.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and anticipate needs, such as water refills or extra utensils.
• Enhance the guest experience by introducing them to our premium entrees, appetizers, desserts, and specialty cocktails.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions securely.
• Collaborate closely with hosts, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless service flow.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to assist with quick turnarounds during peak hours.
• Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior serving experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment required. Experience in a seafood-centric or upscale casual concept is a plus.
• Technology: Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is required. Experience reading RESY seating assignments or floor charts is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal communication, and a welcoming, professional demeanor.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and speed.
• Teamwork: A strong collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates to ensure overall restaurant success.

Requirements

Physical Requirements & Availability

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays (up to 30 lbs) for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Must be able to work both lunch and dinner shifts.
