The Arlington is recruiting for a hospitality focused Server/Bartender to join our culinary team. This part-time role includes rotating weekends and starts at $20/hour. The position emphasizes service excellence, beverage knowledge, and maintaining a welcoming dining atmosphere.

We value experience in upscale hospitality and familiarity with POS systems. Background screening in accordance with Florida Care Provider guidelines may apply, and prior senior living exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of POS systems and beverage inventory procedures.
• Experience in senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope serving functions for the culinary department.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Take orders, provide service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, mocktails, and other beverages as required.
• Answer questions about menu items and maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere.

This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions for the culinary department. This position is a part time position that includes rotating weekends.

Salary: Starting at $20/hour.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Server/Bartender:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, mocktails, specialty beverages, coffee and other refreshments according to established standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary beverages, wine, spirits and responsible alcohol service.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
