Hotel Northampton invites applications for a Restaurant Server and/or Bartender to join our team at the historic Northampton property. The role supports both of our dining venues, providing attentive, personalized service, menu guidance, and collaboration with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of alcohol service regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Present menus and explain items, specials, and dietary options.
• Take orders accurately using the POS and communicate with the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously.
