Job summary

LV Petroleum is hiring for SERVERS, COOKS, and BARTENDERS at the Ten20 Tavern inside our travel center in Mankato, MN. Walk-ins are welcome during posted times. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and support kitchen and bar operations to ensure a quick, friendly dining experience.

Responsibilities include upselling items, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with team members during peak hours. Flexible hours and weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or diner setting.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist customers with menu choices and provide recommendations when needed.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure customers have a positive dining experience with outstanding service.
• Operate the cash register and handle various payment methods, balancing the register at shifts.
• Enter orders into the system and relay details to kitchen staff.
• Assist with packaging takeout orders and maintain cleanliness and organization in the area.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Inform customers of promotions and upsell desserts, drinks, or sides.
