Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a bartender at our restaurants, your main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to guests and serve them a variety of beers, other beverages, and food. Your main tasks will include creating a friendly environment, possessing extensive knowledge of Beer Tree’s offerings, including descriptions, flavors, and ingredients. You will need to suggest beer and food pairings and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promote the culture, values, and mission of Beer Tree
2. Provide excellent customer service with an outgoing personality, focusing on developing regular guests and encouraging return visits
3. Develop and maintain strong and evolving knowledge of beer and food, with eagerness to develop your palate and beer education
4. Maintain a guest-first mindset and environment
5. Follow daily checklists for opening and closing procedures
6. Ensure all guests are of legal drinking age and discontinue alcohol service when required
7. Keep the work station clean and stocked
8. Complete assigned side work
9. Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent communication skills with guests, co-workers, and management
2. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and assist others as necessary
3. Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
