Job summary

Loews Philadelphia Hotel, located in the historic PSFS building in Center City, seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional table service and a warm dining experience. You will take orders, guide guests through menus, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, quality service.

We value service-minded professionals with strong communication, a team-first attitude, and the ability to handle busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
