Job summary

Loews Philadelphia Hotel is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional table service, greet guests, take accurate orders, and ensure a warm, memorable dining experience in our Center City restaurant. You will maintain menu knowledge, accommodate dietary preferences, process payments on POS systems, and support the team during busy service periods with a friendly, solutions‑oriented approach.

Prior hospitality experience and strong communication skills are required, with a focus on guest

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.
• POS experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
