Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Server Attendant for its hospitality team in the United States. The role involves assisting the Server team, maintaining a clean and efficient dining area, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will set and reset tables, pre-bus and bus tables, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout service. The position requires the ability to multi-task, a genuine interest in food and beverage, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server team’s needs; stock, clean, and manage the flow of your section.
• Set and reset tables with polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins.
• Pre-bussing and bussing during service; support servers with service steps.
• Clean spills and broken glassware/dishes promptly with proper safety practices.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure cleaning and safety standards are followed.
• Refill water, coffee, and beverages during meals to meet guest needs.
• Deliver WOW moments and adapt to guest expectations; take on additional duties as needed.

Your Journey

• Assist the Server's team’s needs; stock, clean, and handle the flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for the Server Attendant position is $12 per hour. This pay scale reflects the base hourly wage and does not include incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, or similar forms of compensation that Montage may reasonably expect to pay for the position.
