Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Server Attendant for Pendry in the San Diego area. This role supports the servers by stocking, cleaning, and managing the flow of the section, while maintaining table settings and guest satisfaction.

You will work with a friendly, guest-focused team, learn and grow within a luxury hospitality environment, and enjoy benefits such as free meals, uniforms, hotel discounts, and a strong focus on career development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server team by stocking, cleaning, and managing the flow of your section.
• Set and reset tables with clean utensils, glassware, share plates, and napkins.
• Pre-bussing and bussing during service; support servers as needed.
• Clean spills and broken glassware promptly, following safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and supplies and ensure safe operation of all tools.
• Refill water, coffee, and beverages to meet guests' needs throughout service.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Your Journey

• Assist the Server’s team’s needs; stock, clean, and handle the flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for Server Attendant is $19 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
