Phoenix & Folly is a new locally owned restaurant and bar focused on elevated comfort food, craft cocktails, and hospitality. We’re seeking servers who read tables, know the menu, and anticipate guests’ needs to create memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Serving or hospitality experience is required; full-service restaurant experience is preferred.
• Genuine enjoyment in talking to people and providing great hospitality.
• Interest in food, cocktails, wine, and learning more about them.
• Ability to read a table and adjust style to different guests.
• Ability to handle multiple tables without making guests feel rushed or forgotten.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding that side work is a real part of the job.

Responsabilités

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service
• Learn our food, cocktail, wine, beer, and zero-proof menus
• Help guests navigate the menu and make thoughtful recommendations
• Accurately take and enter orders and handle guest payments
• Communicate allergies, modifications, and guest needs clearly with the kitchen and bar
• Maintain your section and help keep the dining room clean and ready for guests
• Work with bartenders, hosts, support staff, and the kitchen to keep service moving
• Handle busy services while staying organized and keeping hospitality intact
• Follow responsible alcohol service and food-safety standards

Phoenix & Folly is a new locally owned restaurant and bar built around elevated comfort food, serious cocktails, and a little mischief.

We’re creating the kind of neighborhood place that works for dinner, drinks, date night, or an evening that lasts a little longer than planned. Our menu features artisan pizza, smash burgers, sandwiches, shareables, dinner plates, and rotating specials alongside a serious craft cocktail program, wine, beer, and zero-proof drinks.

The atmosphere is polished but never stuffy: warm, slightly eccentric, and centered around genuine hospitality. We take the food and drinks seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.

Server

We’re looking for servers who understand that great service isn’t just taking orders. It’s reading the table, knowing the menu, making great recommendations, noticing what guests need before they have to ask, and giving people a reason to come back.

We want personality at our tables. You don’t need to deliver a rehearsed script or pretend to be someone you’re not. You do need to care about hospitality, know what we’re serving, and be able to take great care of people when the restaurant gets busy.
