Stella Van Buren, an upscale Italian American Steakhouse at the Westin Milwaukee, seeks a high-energy Server Assistant to support dinner service. You’ll help the serving team, maintain tables, and ensure hospitality with a professional demeanor.

Compensation starts at $13/hour plus tips, with scheduling flexibility via our app to swap or pick up shifts. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment; prior guest-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set while assisting the Food Runner as needed.
• Work closely with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality, always professional and friendly.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes, answering guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment with a neat, professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Stella Van Buren is an upscale, Italian American Steakhouse, located on the 3rd floor of the Westin Milwaukee hotel. We are looking for a high energy, organized and detail oriented Server Assistant to provide support to our Serving staff, primarily during our dinner service. Our Server Assistants make $13/hours plus tips and enjoy advanced scheduling and the flexibility to swap or pick up shifts easily using our app—perfect for achieving better balance while pursuing your passion in the food and beverage industry!
