Stella Van Buren, an upscale Italian American Steakhouse on the 3rd floor of the Westin Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee, seeks a Server Assistant to support the serving team during lunch and dinner. You’ll help with table maintenance, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to a seamless fine-dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set, assist Food Runner as needed.
• Maintain communication with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable about all menu items and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as an ambassador of the establishment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a high energy, organized, and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join the team at Stella Van Buren — an upscale Italian American Steakhouse located on the 3rd floor of the Westin Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee, WI. In this guest-facing food and beverage support role, you will provide exceptional support to our serving staff during lunch and dinner service, assist with table maintenance, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to a seamless and memorable fine dining experience. We are looking for candidates who are available to fill both lunch and dinner shifts.
