Job summary

Stella Van Buren, operated by White Lodging, seeks a Server Assistant to support our dining team during lunch and dinner at the Westin Milwaukee. You will help servers, maintain tables, and ensure a seamless fine-dining experience.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the server role.
• Availability to work lunch and/or dinner shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set while assisting the Food Runner as needed.
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality, always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes, accurately answering any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
