Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Food & Beverage-minded Server Assistant for Shelter Club at The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa in Oceanside, CA. This part-time position supports the Food Server, delivering casual menu items and drinks to guests by the pool and bar area.

Typical duties include rolling silverware and clearing tables as needed. The role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and weekend availability, with benefits typical of Hyatt positions.

Summary

Casual fare, craft beer, and cocktails! Savor refreshing drinks and sandwiches, salads, and more at our timeless and sophisticated pool bar and restaurant, The Shelter Club. Located right behind the outdoor third-floor pool, guest can order a burger, fresh fries, and a cocktail all without leaving their pool chair. Guest can take a dip in the sparkling pool and enjoy the beautiful ocean views from the expansive pool deck as guest unwind, dine, and relax with a cool beverage in hand.

The Food Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. Please note, your job duties may include additional responsibilities depending on business needs, such as rolling silverware, clearing tables, etc.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hr. This is a part time position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling, and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.


• 1+ years experience in F&B.


• Ability to take direction.


• Must be available weekends.
