Hyatt Regency San Francisco is seeking a polished, energetic Lounge Beverage Server to join Eclipse Kitchen & Bar. This role involves delivering attentive beverage and food service in a dynamic, high-volume lounge environment within the hotel’s atrium.

The position is evening-focused, with no guaranteed weekly schedule, and requires strong guest service skills. The role is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement, with a pay rate of $20.26 per hour.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant, lounge, hotel, or hospitality service experience.
• Previous cocktail, wine, and food service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of lounge and beverage service.
• Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a high-volume lounge environment.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain required certification.
• Responsible Beverage Service certification or ability to obtain required certification.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to assigned on-call shifts.
• Consistent evening availability is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive, polished, and professional beverage and food service to guests in Eclipse Lounge.
• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming, personable lounge experience.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and communicate special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to the appropriate colleagues.
• Serve cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food items according to hotel standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Eclipse’s beverage offerings, including signature cocktails, California wines, beer, and alternative non-alcoholic beverages.
• Assist guests with menu questions and provide appropriate recommendations based on preferences.
• Monitor assigned tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the experience.
• Maintain table presentation by clearing used glassware and dishes, refreshing beverages, and keeping guest areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate closely with bartenders, hosts, culinary colleagues, and other Food & Beverage team members to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service stations and lounge areas.
• Process guest checks accurately and follow established payment, room charge, and cash-handling procedures.
• Follow responsible alcohol service requirements and all hotel food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate guest concerns, service opportunities, and operational issues to the appropriate leader.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities as assigned.
• Support the team during periods of high volume, special events, and changing business needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Perform other lounge and Food & Beverage duties as assigned.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco is seeking a polished, energetic, and service-focused Lounge Beverage Server to join the team at Eclipse Kitchen & Bar.

Eclipse is a dynamic restaurant and lounge located in the hotel’s dramatic atrium, offering guests a sophisticated setting for business meetings, social gatherings, and evening cocktails. The lounge features signature cocktails, California wines, craft beer, appetizers, and San Francisco-inspired cuisine, with comfortable seating including plush couches, modern pub tables, and tufted benches. Bar service is offered in the evening, with food service beginning at 5:00 PM.

This position will be the most junior-seniority position within the Eclipse roster. As a result, there are no guaranteed weekly shifts. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced hospitality professional seeking flexible supplemental evening work.

The ideal candidate has strong restaurant, lounge, or hotel experience and is comfortable providing polished beverage and food service in a high-volume environment.

• Strictly PM availability required.
• No guaranteed weekly schedule.
• Significant coverage opportunities are expected from mid-November through January due to scheduled colleague vacations and peak business demands.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other high-demand periods as needed.
