Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Server Assistant in Rio Verde, AZ. The role supports dining room staff and reports to the Food & Beverage Supervisor. Pay is $13.15 per hour plus tips, with full-time eligibility for benefits after 60 days and a PTO/holiday accrual program.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months' server experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums.
• Ability to communicate positively with team members and supervisors.
• Desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere with knowledge of the resort and dining area.
• Greet guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Maintain communication with servers and assist as needed.
• Clear tables, clear trays, and reset dining areas.
• Assist servers with carrying trays and addressing guest needs.
• Notice and report potential safety or cleanliness issues to a supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned.
