Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico seeks a Server Assistant to support the dining team and ensure an expertly served guest experience. You will clear and reset tables, stock service ware, and assist service staff with attentive, unobtrusive service.

The role emphasizes proactive guest care, the ability to multitask in a busy restaurant, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equivalent.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest's needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Open and close side work and set tables according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely and break them down.
• Clear tables and reset for specific party size.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

About the role :

T he Server Assistant assists the s erver in providing an expertly served dining experience conforming by clearing and resetting tables.

What you will do:

• Anticipate and service the owner and guest's needs before requests are necessary.
• Retrieve and stock all linen, china , silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
• Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
• Provide water throughout the meal to guests.
• Carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
• Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
• Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management .

What you will bring:

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in E nglish and Spanish language.
