Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Server Assistant at IronOaks at Sun Lakes in Chandler/Sun Lakes, AZ. This part-time role pays $12.15 per hour plus tips, with benefits for full-time staff and PTO accrual for eligible employees.

You will support dining room staff and respond to guest questions, reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor. The position requires a High School diploma (or equivalent), 1–3 months of server experience preferred, and a Current Food Handlers Card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three months’ related server experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memorandums.
• Positive and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must demonstrate initiative and sound judgment.
• Good time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide exceptional hospitality with knowledge of the resort facilities.
• Greet guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Maintain effective communication with servers and respond to requests for support.
• Work as a team: clear tables, carry trays, and reset tables.
• Assist servers with trays and ensure guest needs are met.
• Notice and report safety, cleanliness, or customer concerns to a supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned.
