Overview:

A Server Assistant (Busser/Food Runner) supports the service team by ensuring guests receive prompt, attentive, and efficient service.

Key responsibilities typically include:

Guest Service:

• - Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
• - Refill water, bread, and other complimentary items.
• - Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate needs to servers or managers.
• - Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.

Dining Room Setup & Maintenance:

• - Set and reset tables according to club or restaurant standards.
• - Clear and clean tables efficiently between courses and after guests depart.
• - Polish silverware, glassware, and service equipment.
• - Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout service.

Food Running:

• - Deliver food accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guests.
• - Verify plate presentation and ensure correct orders are served.
• - Communicate with kitchen staff regarding special requests and dietary restrictions.

Operational Support:

• - Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
• - Stock service stations with necessary supplies.
• - Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated cleaning areas.
• - Support banquet and special event setups as required.

Teamwork & Safety:

• - Work closely with servers, bartenders, and culinary staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
• - Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• - Maintain knowledge of club policies and service procedures.
• - Assist in training new team members when requested.
