Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in hotel/restaurant with customer service focus.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
• Hold Food Handler’s Card and TIPS Certification.
• SC-approved Alcohol Server Training Certificate (company reimbursed).
• Working knowledge of Beer, Spirits, Wine and Dining.
• Speak/read/write English at workplace level.

Responsibilities

• Follow Food & Beverage sequence of service as standardized by managers/chefs.
• Provide analytical support and decision tools to leadership to improve results.
• Set and reset tables with clean silverware, glassware, share plates and napkins.
• Pre-buss and buss tables during service; assist servers as needed.
• Clean spills and broken glass/dishes immediately; use floor signs as needed.
• Clean equipment/tools and maintain them per procedures and policies.
• Work as a team and communicate with management and service staff to address guest needs.
