Job summary

Palmetto Bluff is seeking a Bartender in Bluffton, SC. You will interact with guests, take orders, craft cocktails to set standards, and manage par levels and inventory. The position offers an hourly wage plus a share of the 18% service charge and discretionary gratuity.

Qualifications

• 3 years restaurant experience or 2 years bartending in a similar establishment.
• Must be 21 years of age and hold or obtain SC-approved Alcohol Server Training Certificate (company reimbursed).
• Proficient reading/writing English and basic math (calculator).
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude, with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow the sequence of service per venue standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of spirits, wine and food; sell menu items while keeping bar clean.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond with urgency.
• Maintain equipment and tools, and comply with health procedures.
• Collaborate with management and staff to address guest needs.
