Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented, customer service oriented Server Assistant (Full-Time) to join our fast-paced, full-service Restaurant and In-room Dining team. The Server Assistant supports the Server in serving guests and contributes to a clean, efficient service environment.

The position requires flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, with starting wages of $22.11 per hour, rising after 6 months and after 1 year to $25.80 and $29.48 per hour respectively.

Qualifications

• Must have true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous food and beverage experience is an asset.
• Must have Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificates.
• Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work the breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts depending on business needs.
• Must be an excellent team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals and guests.
• Must be able to engage customers in a professional conversation at all times.
• Must be able to prioritize.
• Must be excellent in multi-tasking.
• Must have refined verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server in serving guests.
