Job summary

Q39 Lawrence is hiring a reliable server assistant to support servers in a fast-paced dine-in experience. You will ensure order accuracy, deliver plates with hospitality, and maintain clean dining areas at our new Lawrence location.

Expect an energetic team, exposure to expo and carry-out operations, and a collaborative work environment with a tip pool. Training provided and growth opportunities within a growing Kansas City BBQ concept.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking server assistant capable of supporting servers in fast-paced dining environments.
• Strong ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing and resetting tables.
• Skilled in assisting with food running, beverage refills, and guest needs for smooth service flow.
• Effective team player with clear communication and a positive, professional attitude.
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an Efficient Expo Pass System and ensure plates meet quality standards.
• Deliver plates to guests promptly with warm, professional service.
• Provide active dining room support by pre-bussing and monitoring tables.
• Maintain carry-out and retail stations for fast service.
• Uphold Q39 values: positive, reliable, team oriented, proactive problem solving.
