About the Role

The Server Assistant plays a crucial support role to the food service staff, responsible for clearing tables, removing used dishes, refilling water glasses, and resetting tables for new guests. The role maintains a smooth and efficient dining experience, supports waitstaff, and keeps the dining area clean and orderly.

What You Will Be Doing

• Follow up on all service details for Food Servers and Supervisors.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Set and clear tables according to standards.
• Stock areas with linen, glassware and silver.
• Assist Servers in servicing the guest.
• Complete all opening and closing side work, including stocking plates, silverware, filling coffee grinders, wine buckets, cleaning floor, wipe down booths and chairs, moving tables and chairs, pushing dirty linen to storage, putting away china, setting out and lighting candles.
• Stock bus station as assigned.
• Attend required meetings.
• Communicate with manager before leaving shift.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross‑training.
• Seat guests.

What You Bring to the Role

• Good communication skills: able to speak English and interact with customers and coworkers.
• Previous restaurant experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation

$10 - $20 per hour.
