Job summary

Four Seasons in Atlanta seeks a courteous server assistant to support the dining team. You will assist food servers with the serving of food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver, and attend to guest needs and requests with a smile.

We value high school education, at least one year of food service experience, and the ability to carry and balance a tray. Enjoy excellent training, employee meals, and dining discounts.

About the role

Assist food servers with the serving of food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver from service as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition. (10%)
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest's needs before requests are necessary. (10%)
• Preparation of condiment and garnish items. (10%)
• Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen using a tray and safely transporting it to guest, as well as removal of items from the guest's table. Keeping the table neat and clean, coordinate service with Server. (25%)
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations. (25%)
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Moving tables and chairs.
• Buffet setup and breakdown
