Job summary

Landscapes Golf Management and Wild Ridge Golf Course are hiring Banquet Servers/Server Assistants for the fall and winter banquet season. Training is provided if you lack prior serving experience. You must be at least 16 years old by the time of hire.

Assists servers in attending to patrons, delivers food, prepares tables, and keeps areas clean and stocked to ensure smooth banquet service. Flexible shifts and on-site work at the club are offered.

Qualifications

• Food handler permit/certification required or obtainable.
• Previous food service experience preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in attending to patrons in event and dining areas.
• Deliver food and keep banquet tables stocked; replace chafing dishes as needed.
• Welcome patrons, escort to tables, and provide menus; maintain clean service areas.
• Set up tables and serving stations; ensure stock levels at server station and bar.

Landscapes Golf Management and Wild Ridge Golf Course are hiring Banquet Servers/Server Assistants! We’re looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team for the fall and winter banquet season. Previous serving experience is preferred, but it is not required—we’re happy to train the right people! Perfect as a side job or for anyone with a busy schedule looking to earn extra money. Must be at least 16 years of age by the time of hire.

JOB SUMMARY

Assists servers in attending to the needs of club patrons in event and dining areas in a courteous manner according to Company standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.


2. Delivers food and ensures banquet serving tables are stocked. Replaces chafing dishes as needed.


3. Assists serving staff in welcoming patrons, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.


4. Prepares tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills, replacing linens, setting up tableware, napkins and condiments. Wraps utensils in napkins accordingly.


5. Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the dining area.


6. Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.


7. Prepares and refills water and other non-alcoholic beverages for club patrons


8. Assists servers with processing payments as needed.


9. Removes trash and sanitizes menus.


10. Sets up tables, chairs and serving stations for events or dinner service.


11. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.


12. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.


13. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.


14. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

2. Good oral communication skills.


3. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.


4. Able to obtain a food handler’s permit or certification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Previous experience in food service preferred.


2. Certified Food Handler (rserving.com or local certification)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%


• Standing and walking 50-75%


• Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
