The Alinea Group is hosting a four-month culinary residency in Big Sky, Montana, inviting you to join the Front of House team as a Server Assistant. This role supports servers, chefs, and expeditors to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining a clean, organized dining room and delivering a refined guest experience.

Candidates should be prepared for a 40+ hour workweek, with open availability preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a busser, food runner, server assistant, or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of reservations and dietary instructions during pre-service meetings.
• Set up dining room including seating areas and bar setups.
• Know menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques.
• Execute day-to-day tasks from pre-shift and closing checklists.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Greet guests with professionalism and warmth; communicate requests to staff.
