Job summary

The Alinea Group invites applications for an Overnight Cleaner as part of a four-month culinary residency led by internationally acclaimed chef Grant Achatz. This role supports high sanitation standards in a chef-driven, seasonal dining program at a stunning alpine retreat in Montana.

The position is full-time and paid hourly, requiring 40+ hours per week with open availability. Perks include ski passes and lodging discounts for team members, plus wellness days and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a support role (dish/porter).
• Experience in fast-paced, chef-driven environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Safe operation experience with dish machines and cleaning tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including work stations and cooking equipment.
• Safely maintain all cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to management.
• Operate all necessary cleaning equipment safely.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

The Overnight Cleaner is an important part of the team that promotes high sanitation standards by maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment for our guests. This is a full-time position paid hourly. Candidates must be willing to work five days a week (40+ hours per week). Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Work stations;
  • Cooking equipment;
  • Walls/Floors;
  • Coolers;
• Properly and safely maintain all chemicals and cleaning supplies required
• Reporting any malfunctioning equipment or equipment issues to management
• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary equipment
• Empty garbage and maintain the cleanliness of garbage areas
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for 8+ hours per shift
• Able to lift, move, or pull up to 35 lbs
• Able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
