Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co in the United States is seeking energetic Server Assistants to ensure exceptional service aligned with Luminary and Mainsail Lodging standards.

You will support the dining team with steps of service, guest interaction, and station coverage, contributing to a hospitable atmosphere and a memorable guest experience across all service areas.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of Oxbow Bar & Grill steps of service and guest interaction.
• Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following the proper steps of service.
• Responsible for setting tables, serving food orders and removing used plate ware and utensils.
• Food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot.
• Ability to handle station, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience.
• Polish glass ware, utensils, organize clean and soiled linen.
• Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests.

Job description

Server Assistants will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the Luminary Hotel & Co. service standards and standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development.

Essential Functions
