Job summary

Schaffer's Mill in Truckee, CA is seeking a part-time Server Assistant to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced hospitality setting within Troon Golf.

You will help keep servers supplied, set tables to Troon standards, assist with food delivery, clear and reset tables, and maintain clean work areas while observing safe work practices.

Schaffer's Mill, located in Truckee, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$16.90 - $21.90 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.

Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges.

Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for the delivery of food.

Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with tickets to run food to tables.

Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.

Ensures that each menu item is prepared to the exact specifications outlined on each ticket.

Corrects menu items with the chef before delivering if they do not meet specifications on the ticket.

Fills and refills water glasses and removes any place settings not in use.

Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of each course.

Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including but not limited to changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, repositioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.

Assists servers when needed.

Keeps workstations well stocked with items and ingredients.

Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Performs other duties as required.
