Job summary

Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a driven Part-Time Server to join Troon, a global leader in golf and community management. You will deliver prompt, courteous service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of food service, a High School diploma, and the ability to serve liquor where permitted. Benefits include health, a 401(k) with employer match, and eligibility for service charges.

Qualifications

• A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service.
• Display knowledge of the F&B menu.
• Take guests' food and/or drink orders and relay to kitchen/bar.
• Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in a timely manner.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol policies and confirm ages.
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items.
• Suggest desserts, coffee and other items as applicable.
• Handle all payments following SOPs.
• Keep tables, dining room and stations sanitized and organized.
• Listen and respond to customer complaints.
• Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Range: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

1-2 years of food service experience

Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) Diploma

Responsibilities:

Checks back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary and/or requested

Suggests and serves dessert, coffee and other items as applicable and/or necessary

Handles all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures

Keeps tables, dining room and work station(s) sanitized and organized

Listen and respond to customer complaints

Performs clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
