Hank's Seafood Restaurant in Charleston seeks a part-time guest-facing team member to help set tables, assist servers, and provide friendly, prompt service. You will help create a welcoming dining experience by anticipating guests' needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Friendly, proactive attitude and good communication.
• Ability to clear and reset tables efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report defects.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
• Assist server with table service, including running food and serving beverages.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly manner.

Hank's Seafood has been beautifully renovated to an ambiance that reflects Charleston's port history and family roots.

This individual is just starting in the restaurant world and seeks to go beyond an understanding of the menu. This person recognizes that a great experience allows guests to focus on enjoying their food and the ambiance so it is important to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they ask. From swift delivery of food to refilling of drinks, this person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal, but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.

Requested Tasks

• Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist server with table service, including running food, serving beverages, etc.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient and friendly manner

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience highly preferred
• A proactive and friendly demeanor
• Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables and replace linens
