You will join a fast-paced, fine-dining environment requiring strong communication, quick learning, and teamwork. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays is essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a fine dining, high-volume atmosphere.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Prior experience as a busser or server assistant in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
• Intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to work clean, organized and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Food and Beverage Server Assistants assists and supports servers, bartenders and room service servers to ensure prompt service and guest's satisfaction.
• Maintaining cleanliness of dining room and equipment
• Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Checking food quality and correctness as well as running food
• Must be able to carry heavy equipment for extended periods of time (trays with food)
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house colleagues
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
• Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by company policy
• Be courteous to all guests and fellow colleagues

The Server Assistant is responsible for overseeing table maintenance, maintaining the flow of service and assisting the servers in the dining room.
