Hotel Nikko Of San Francisco is seeking a dependable and energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This key role involves maintaining a clean and organized dining environment while ensuring timely food and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout service.
• Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently.
• Support servers and bartenders with daily operations.
• Set up and maintain buffet and bar areas.
• Stock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service items.
• Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en place.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Assist as needed with side work and additional assigned duties.
