Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Server Assistant in Colorado to support servers, help with refills and table turns, and keep dining areas clean and safe for Guests. You will greet Guests, take drink overs, and contribute to timely service while maintaining high safety standards.

Ideal candidates are Guest-focused, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with or without prior food and beverage experience, and willing to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and ability to engage with Guests.
• Teamwork is essential in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification as required.
• Clear communication with guests, teammates and management.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet Guests and take drink orders.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guest needs.
• Support the Server with refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables.
• Create memorable Guest experiences through exceptional service.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Server Assistants are there to support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables and helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink overs. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server, by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required
• Communicates effectively
• Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
