Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in New York is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing, and table turns, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking drink orders, and delivering food promptly. Flexible hours and opportunities for growth are available in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

• Experience in food and beverage is a plus but not required.

At Main Event, our Server Assistants support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helpingwith table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders

• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs

• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables,and turning tables

• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service

• Performing opening, mid-day,or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required

• Guest-focusedmindset (We heart our Guests!)

• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)

• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required

• Communicateseffectively

• Sense of urgency andcomfortin a fast-paced environment
