JOB DESCRIPTION SERVER ASSISTANT

The server assistants are integral support staff roles responsible for assisting with all table maintenance and serving courses to our guests in a timely and gracious manner.

Server Assistant Principal Duties:

Assists with guest satisfaction through gracious, hospitable service. Sets and clears tables. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic, and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

1. PRIORITY #1: Guest Satisfaction.
2. PRIORITY #2: Clears and resets tables quickly.
3. Exhibits Cindy’s and Boka service standards consistently.
4. Checks each table for completeness of setting.
5. Checks stations for stock of silverware, glassware, napkins, share plates, marking trays; restocks as needed.
6. Checks sinks for soap and paper towels; alerts stewarding if restocking is required.
7. Provides water and coffee/tea service as needed, maintaining water levels throughout service.
8. Picks up debris and cleans spills or grease on the floor.
9. Maintains overall cleanliness of restaurant areas according to DOH guidelines.
10. Helps promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests.
11. Additional duties may be added at the manager’s discretion.
12. Ensures presence in your station and floor.
13. Creates positive interactions to WOW guests.
14. Promotes a welcoming and positive climate.
15. Be timely and efficient.

Additional Server Assistant Responsibilities:

• Greets guests warmly, making eye contact, and using their names when possible.
• Assists in guest services as directed.
• Helps guests into their seats.
• Checks dining area for cleanliness and maintains station organization.
• Supports a safe and clean environment.
• Works as part of a team, helping others and requesting help when needed.
• Keeps stations stocked during shifts.

Daily Checklist & Expectations:

Report on time, maintain uniform and personal hygiene, and arrive prepared. Follow uniform guidelines as per the Look Book. Responsible for the neatness and appearance of your uniform, contributing to the restaurant’s image. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
