Job summary

JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining room team in a Forbes 5-star, Michelin-level service environment at the JUSTIN Estate in Paso Robles. Shifts are Thursday to Sunday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with a requirement for weekend availability and late-night hours.

Responsibilities include setting up dining rooms, maintaining table settings, serving water and beverages, and coordinating with the Captain and kitchen to deliver flawless courses.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume dining environments preferred.
• Ability to maintain Michelin-level service standards.

Server Assistant: The Server Assistant plays a key support role in the seamless execution of service, maintaining the flow and rhythm of the dining room. In this role, you will be responsible for building and resetting tables, marking flatware and glassware, running and clearing courses, maintaining water and beverage service, and ensuring the Lead Servers are consistently supported. This position requires speed, precision, and a proactive mindset to uphold Michelin-level dining and Forbes 5-star service standards.

This position is based at our JUSTIN Estate: 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446. The work schedule is Thursday - Sunday (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or closing). This position requires weekend availability and the ability to work late nights.

Job Description

• Assist with dining room setup prior to service, including but not limited to: linens, glassware, silverware, and tabletop details, fans/heaters and other equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of the interior/exterior of guest areas
• Maintain water service and refill beverages promptly and discreetly
• Deliver and clear food courses in coordination with the Captain and kitchen within FORBES 5-star service
• Accurately mark tables with appropriate flatware and glass
