Job summary

Woodbury Corporation's Hilton Garden Inn restaurant in Sandy, UT is hiring a part-time Server for breakfast service from 5:30am to 11:30am. You will prepare tables, present menus, take and deliver orders, and help with beverages and desserts, while delivering a friendly guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
• Previous serving experience preferred.

• Current food handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments.
• Stay updated on current menu choices and specials, and kitchen item availability.
• Maintain proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, refill glasses.
• Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) for service to customer’s table.
• Open and pour wine at the tableside.
• Accept payments, issue receipts, and return change.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu changes, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
