Vitalia Strongsville in Strongsville, OH is seeking a part-time Server to welcome residents in the dining room and support daily meal service. The role includes greeting residents, prepping tables and silverware, bussing, and assisting residents during meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• English literacy at least 8th grade level.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with seating, standing, and walking, including post-fall support.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and ensure they feel welcome in the dining room.
• Prepare tables, salads, and silverware to ensure service readiness.
• Bus tables, sweep floors, and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Communicate dietary changes or concerns to Wellness staff when observed.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday

4:00pm to 7:30pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist:” Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
