Job summary

Madlife Stage & Studios is seeking motivated Servers to take orders, answer menu questions, serve food and beverages, handle payments, and keep tables clean in a fast-paced environment. • 4+ years wait staff experience required.
• Must be able to write and speak English fluently.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS software a plus.
• Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages, recipes, and ingredients.
• Take accurate orders, enter them into the POS system, and partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations.
• Take immediate action to correct any issues and notify the appropriate supervisor.
• Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet all requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Responsibly serves alcohol and remains aware of guest's state of intoxication.
• Prepare checks, present them to the guest, and process cash or card payments.
• Satisfy any/all needs of the guests - regularly double-checking back with guests throughout their experience.
• Maintain a clean & organized station including pre-bussing & table maintenance.
• Perform opening and closing & side duties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all table numbers.
• Direct guests to areas & restrooms.
• Create memorable experiences.
