Southview Acres Health Care Center is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. The role involves food preparation, portioning for residents, and serving meals during the 3pm-7pm shift in a busy residential health care facility.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to take direction well and multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience or passion for food preparation and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for residents.
• Prepares and portions correct amount of food as determined by meal tickets.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food following HACCP SOPs.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per schedules and procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Prepare beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages.
• Distribute beverages to residents before meal times.
• Clean tables and stock condiments, creamers, sugar, etc.
• Perform correct sanitary measures.

Part Time available

Shifts: 3pm-7pm

The ideal candidate for this position has previous Dietary aide experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. If you have experience and a passion for food prep and strong customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for residents.

• Prepares and portions correct amount of food as determined meal tickets

• Plates and serves food.

• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.

• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.

• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.

• Preparing all beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages

• Distributing beverages to residents before meal time

• Cleaning tables and stocking condiments, creamers, sugar etc.

• Performing correct sanitary measures
