Job summary

Southview Acres Health Care Center is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team. Shifts run from 3pm to 7pm.

The ideal candidate has prior Dietary Aide experience and thrives in a busy environment, able to take direction and multitask effectively. Responsibilities include preparing and portioning meals for residents, serving, food handling per HACCP SOPs, sanitizing areas, and ensuring beverages and meals are delivered promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous Dietary aide experience.
• Capable of taking direction well.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for residents.
• Prepares and portions correct amount of food as determined by meal tickets.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food safely per HACCP SOPs.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per schedules.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Prepare beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages.
• Distribute beverages to residents before meals.
• Clean tables and stock condiments, creamers, sugar, etc.
• Perform sanitary measures.

Shifts: 3pm-7pm

The ideal candidate for this position has previous Dietary aide experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for residents.
• Prepares and portions correct amount of food as determined meal tickets
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Preparing all beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages
• Distributing beverages to residents before meal time
• Cleaning tables and stocking condiments, creamers, sugar etc.
• Performing correct sanitary measures
